2. Information we collect

We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

• Name, email address, company name
• Mobile phone number (when you opt in to SMS)
• Message content and support request details
• Account information used to create a Mel account
• Consent records (timestamp, source page, disclosure version, opt-in method)

When you use the Mel AI agent, the context you choose to send (your prompt and any files or output you attach) may be forwarded to the Mel relay, which calls model providers on your behalf. Provider keys are held server-side. Conversations may be stored locally under your home directory on your device.

We may also collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, page URL, and timestamps for security, fraud prevention, rate limiting and abuse prevention, and consent recordkeeping.

3. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Mel products and services
• Create and manage Mel accounts
• Respond to contact, sales, and support requests
• Send service, account, and support communications you request
• Send SMS messages only when you provide the applicable SMS consent
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and carrier messaging requirements

4. Mel product / AI agent data handling

The Mel terminal itself is designed to run locally and does not phone home with command history, file contents, or output unless you explicitly invoke the AI agent.

When you use the Mel AI agent, selected context is forwarded to the Mel relay and may be processed by one or more model providers (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, DeepSeek, and Moonshot, and other providers shown in the app's model picker). Each provider's privacy policy governs how they handle data sent to their APIs.

5. SMS / text messaging privacy notice

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from Mel / Concepts Dzign LLC, we collect your mobile phone number and SMS consent status so we can send the messages you requested.

A. Informational and customer-care messaging

Mel / Concepts Dzign LLC may send informational and service-related SMS to customers and prospective customers who requested contact and consented to receive text messages. Message types may include:

• lead follow-up after an inquiry or demo request
• consultation or demo scheduling
• onboarding coordination
• account-related communication
• customer care and service follow-up

B. Required messaging disclosures

• SMS consent is optional and is not required to download Mel, create an account, purchase Mel services, or complete a transaction

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile opt-in data is not sold to lead generators and is not shared as a shared/purchased list. Authorized service providers (such as Twilio) may process messaging data only as needed to deliver messages and maintain compliance records on our behalf; they are not authorized to use your mobile opt-in data for their own marketing.

D. Separate consents

Informational and service-related SMS consent is separate from any marketing or promotional SMS consent. We do not treat support or follow-up consent as marketing consent.

6. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only:

• With service providers who help operate our website, infrastructure, forms, or messaging (under confidentiality / data-processing terms)
• When required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security
• With your direction or explicit consent

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are not shared or sold for third-party marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking cookies for advertising. Signing in to your Mel account on this website sets a session cookie used solely to keep you signed in. When configured, the website uses Sentry for error reporting; this is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. If analytics tools are added later, this section will be updated.

8. Data retention and deletion

Newsletter and account email addresses are held until you unsubscribe or request removal. SMS consent and related records may be retained as needed for compliance, opt-out suppression, and legal obligations. To request deletion or access, email info@helloagentic.ai.
