Mel – the agentic terminal
The AI terminal for teams.
Code review
Built-in code review, next to the terminal.
Mel has built-in code review. Every change the agent or you made shows up as a diff beside the terminal, file by file, so you can read it, fix it and commit it in one place.
How it works
From diff to commit
- 01Open the panel
Press Ctrl+Shift+= (Cmd on Mac), click the git chip, or click Review changes under an agent turn.
- 02Pick what to compare
Your uncommitted changes, with new files included, or everything since your branch left another branch.
- 03Read each file
Each file is a card with its + and − counts, syntax highlighting and an index to jump between files.
- 04Accept or undo a hunk
Accept stages one hunk. Undo reverts it, and asks twice.
- 05Comment and send to the agent
Comment on any line, then send every comment to the agent at once, with the file, line and code.
- 06Approve and commit
Approve stages everything. Write a message and commit from the panel.
In the panel
More in the review panel
Attach the diff
Hand the diff to the agent as context, with secrets masked.
Discard
Discard one file, or all tracked changes after a confirming click.
Resize or maximise
Drag the divider, or fill the window.
Fast on big diffs
The panel shows up to 40 files and 400 lines a file; git diff is a keystroke away for the rest.
